KINGSBRIDGE, The Bronx (WABC) — One child is dead and three others are injured following an incident at a daycare in the Bronx.
It happened Friday afternoon at the daycare on 2707 Morris Ave. in Kingsbridge.
One child is in critical condition and another child is in stable condition. The condition of the fourth child is unknown.
Firefightrs and police responded to the scene, and entered the daycare wearing a breathing apparatus. They are still gathering details as to what caused the incident, and are looking into the level of how suspicious the incident is.
The ages of the children have not been released, but officials say the child who died was a young boy. According to a sign, the daycare is for children six weeks to 12 years old.
