Cardi B is not shedding a tear and not playing games when it comes to Kulture. As part of her request for divorce from Offset Cardi B has requested primary custody of their daughter Kulture.
According to the petition, obtained by USA TODAY, She is also seeking an equitable division of their marital assets as well as for Offset to pay both child support and all of her legal fees from the divorce.
Cardi B spoke out about her divorce with Offset after rumors surfaced that she was doing it for clout.
“I don’t understand why people want the reason for the divorce to be something so, so bad. It’s nothing crazy, out of this world happened. Sometimes people really do (expletive) grow apart,” Cardi B said. “I’ve been with this man for four years, I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man. Sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments, of the build ups. You get tired sometimes.”
Cardi stated that ever since the cheating scandal conversations with Offset have not been the same.
“It’s not because of cheating,” Cardi B said. “I just got tired of (expletive) arguing, I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on I’d rather just leave.”
Offset has not said much about the divorce but did state on his social media that “the grind don’t stop.”
From the looks of it neither parent is letting this change of life get in their way and are focused on the grind.
Offset posted a video of Kulture in his latest music video. Kulture is seen holding bundles of money.
Cardi has been constantly posting about her newest project as well, and both parents remain on each others social media.
From the looks of it, it may just be a peaceful seperation for new beginnings.
