A Michael Jackson Documentary Will Debut At Sundance Film Festival

A Michael Jackson documentary will debut at the Sundance Film Festival. The Jackson documentary will have motives like the “Surviving Rkelly” documentary. Two of Michael Jackson’s alleged accusers will give insight on their relationship with Michael Jackson. The two accusers are now in their 30’s. They were said to have been engaged with Michael Jackson since they were little boys. One of the accusers met Michael around the ages of 7. The other accuser was also under age meeting Michael at 10 years old.

The Sundance Film Festival recently added the documentary to the list. The documentary is titled “Leaving Netherland”. The announcement of the documentary was denounced by Michael Jackson’s estate.

“This is yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson,” an estate statement said.

Dan Reed, the director and producer of the film has not spoken on the criticism from the late singer’s family and his fans. The documentary is produced by Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller. Both are also executive vice presidents of HBO Documentary and Family Programming, as well as Channel 4 Specialist Factual commissioner Tom Porter.

The Sundance Film Festival runs through Jan 24 and run through Feb. 4. However, Michael Jackson is not alive to defend himself.
