Amerie is definitely a vibe for the past decade, and actually she is a continuing vibe. The singer has been touring consistently in 2019 with other artist. In December she hit the stage for the Femme It Forward movement. Other artist like Ashanti, Keri Hilson, Monica, and Lil Mo joined her.
Amerie has also been keeping us updated on the book knowledge, as she host’s Amerie Book Club on Youtube.
Most recently, the singer was crowned for best song of the decade with her hit “1 Thing” from the “Touch” album. Amerie was honored to be included in the list even though the album was released April 26, 2005.
Amerie says she has been performing most of the songs from the “All I Have” album because it is very nostalgic for her.
Outside of performing the singer is also working on an adult novel and a 700 page novel science fiction fantasy. Amerie’s last 20 years has been pretty achieving. She became a mother to a now one year old son named River Rowe. During her Instagram live River was present enjoying mommy time.
Amerie was asked about her next book review on youtube. Her response revealed that she is actually working on a new album. She said the sound of the new album would be an extension of her first two albums. She is also contemplating doing an “All I Have” tour where she performs that album live.
She is also working on a better health lifestyle due to the treatment of animals. The artist said she is not currently vegan but she is moving towards a vegan lifestyle. She also admitted that she likes the taste of the Burger King impossible burger, mentioning that it is one of the few plant based burgers that does not taste like card board.
Amerie is on our radar all year and we can’t wait to check out her new album and novels.
