    Anne Heche Dead At 53 Was Working on 6 Film Prior To Accident

    Anne Heche dead at 53 was critically injured in a car crash. The death was unexpected as the “Wildcard” actress had several projects in the making.

    Heche, began her career in the early 1990s. She played a twin on the soap Another World. Her early film roles, include playing Catherine Keener’s sister in Nicole Holofcener’s debut feature, Walking and Talking.

    Anne Heche’s break out role was as Johnny Depp’s girlfriend in gangster drama Donnie Brasco (1997). That same year she casted in Wag the Dog, disaster movie Volcano and the teen popular movie, I Know What You Did Last Summer.

    In 1998, she starred as Marion Crane in Gus van Sant’s revisionist, shot-for-shot remake of Hitchcock’s Psycho. Most recently, she played the mother of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in a 2017 biopic. As well as an enraged artist opposite Sandra Oh in acclaimed 2016 black comedy Catfight.

    Girl in Room 13 and Hardboiled would be her last casting. Sadly news headlines on Friday confirmed Anne Heche dead.

    Her oldest son spoke out. The actress left behind two sons, Homer, 20 by her ex husband Coleman Laffoon and Atlast,13 by her ex James Tupper.

    Homer stated, “My brother Atlas and I lost our Mom,” he told People. “After six days of almost unbelievable emotional swings, I am left with a deep, wordless sadness. Hopefully my mom is free from pain and beginning to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom.”

    He added, “Over those six days, thousands of friends, family, and fans made their hearts known to me. I am grateful for their love, as I am for the support of my Dad, Coley, and my stepmom Alexi who continue to be my rock during this time.”

    Additionally, Anne Heche’s ex-girlfriend, former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres also expresses her feelings. She said, “This is a sad day. I’m sending Anne’s children, family and friends all of my love.”

    Anne Heche had several projects in production prior to being taken off of life support.

    Heche’s future roles include a 2023 movie called Full Ride. Another movie called Wildfire: The tale of the Cherokee Ghost Horse. As well as two more films, Chasing Nightmares, and Supercell. As far as television her acting profile lists 6 episodes for a series called The Idol. Finally, a pre project in development called Wake.
