Bobby Browns Son Bobby Brown Jr Passes At 28 Years Old
Bobby Brown’s son, Bobby Brown Jr., has died at 28. He expressed his feelings after losing his sister Kristina Bobby Brown. The response at the time seemed a bit questioning as to what his normal life was like.
Bobby Brown Jr was born to Brown and Kim Ward, with whom Brown had an 11-year off-and-on relationship. TMZ, who reported the news Wednesday evening, says that while police are still at Brown’s LA-area home, foul play is not suspected.
Bobby Brown Jr was born during an on again off again relationship with Bobby Brown who is also her childhood friend. Less than a year before Brown and Whitney Houston had their daughter Bobbi Kristina, Jr was born.
In a 2016 interview with Boston Magazine, Ward claimed that Houston never warmed to the boy and preferred that Bobbi Kristina spend time with Brown and Ward’s older child, La’Princia, saying “[Houston] has a problem with little Bobby.”
Ward and Brown’s relationship was fraught before the deaths of Houston and Bobbi Kristina. In 2007, he was jailed over delinquent child-support payments to Ward, eventually being freed when a DC-area radio station paid his debt.
Bobby Jr’s questionable life was unfolded in a message he sent three days after Bobbi Kristina’s death in 2015. Bobby Jr. was also an aspiring musician. To his Twitter he posted,
“People really don’t give a f–k about you unless you’re relevant,” he wrote in a since-deleted thread, “and they don’t love you till you’re famous or gone. I don’t want these follows. Your follows ain’t gonna fill the hole in my heart, and y’all gon unfollow me once you stop caring.”
The news was confirmed as JR’s family found him lifeless.
