Brazilian midfielder, Casemiro, has signed a new four-year contract with Real Madrid.
“Real Madrid C.F. and Casemiro have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which is linked to the club for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2021,” Real Madrid said in a post sighted by African Entertainment on its official Instagram page.
Casemiro, aged 29, was due to see his previous contract with Madrid end in 2023.
In a statement on its official website, Real Madrid noted that “Casemiro signed his contract renewal at Cuidad Real Madrid, accompanied by president Florentino Perez.”
Casemiro, a defensive midfielder has won four Champions League titles and two La Liga titles since joining Real Madrid from Sao Paulo in 2013.
