Chadwick Boseman spoke for Wakanda as it claimed it’s throne at the 25th annual SAG Awards for 2019. The Black Panther movie was honored with two of last nights highest achievements. Those honors included Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
The movie had some great competition, as it defeated two box office heavyweights “Crazy Rich Asians”, and “A Star Is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody”. The Black Panther movie made history. It became the first superhero flick as well as the biggest box office earner to ever claim the Screen Actors Guild Award.

Black Panther leading star Chadwick Boseman took to the mic with a eye openging speech on the importance of representing Black talent in the industry. The Black Panther crew Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o and others watched in astonishment.
Chadwick Boseman first gave thanks to his co-stars and the film’s myriad execs. He also included Black Panther director Ryan and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. However, the Boseman’s intentions were to deliver more than gratitude that night.
