Bow Wow aka Shad Moss, claimed he was supposed to rap on Chris Brown’s “Run It” song.
Since recorded on the tracks remix it didn’t seem strange.
But Breezy responded to the claims on that song a bit indifferent to Moss’s recollection. During an episode of “Drink Champs” on June 21st Noreaga told Brown that Juelz Santana, who was featured on the single, also appeared on the show.
The host asked Brown to clear the rumor up because according to Santana he thought he was the first artist on the single.
N.O.R.E also noted that Moss said he was the first during his Soulja Boy “Verzuz” battle. Brown, however, said Moss was the first artist who offered to help him on his album.
“So, you know, Shad is my brother, man,” he said. “But Shad be cap sometimes. But I love Shad! So, Bow, right, so he definitely was the first — I’m talking about the person who said ‘Look, look you want to get on tour? You wanna, I’ma show you how to do this.’ He was not a hater. There was a lot of singers out, there was a lot of other people that was kinda a little bit… so I was like, psh, alright. But Bow was the first one,” he said.
“But when we did ‘Run It,’ it was like … we did ‘Run It,’ like I said, in the Hit Factory in Miami when I was like 14. They was like, ‘Well, who you want to feature?’ I said, ‘Man, Juelz Santana.’”
Chris Brown’s “Run It” song dropped in 2005 on Brown’s self-titled first album, “Chris Brown” by Jive Records. The album earned the “No Guidance” artist’s first Grammy nomination at the 2006 Grammy Awards for Best New Artist.
