The Democratic Republic of Congo has taken delivery of 250,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine.
The doses were donated through the global Covax programme.
DR Congo had previously received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The first batch of the Moderna vaccine arrived recently. The batch forms part of the six million different vaccines DR Congo has been waiting for since July 2020.
