After much anticipation Drake responds to Pusha T. Most fans were looking for a hard come back in a rap battle, but Drake took another route explaining why Pusha T has the photo of him in black face.
From his Instagram he wrote, “You’re welcome.” The rapper followed it up with a photo of an invoice for 100k.
The invoice is allegedly billed to the G.O.O.D. Music rappers for “promotional assistance and career reviving.”
There After he released a post saying “now back to the album”.
Drake responds to Pusha T in “Duppy Freestyle”, starts off saying “I’m in shock. The nerve, the audacity.”
Drake shot straight for Pusha T’s career. “Don’t push me when I’m in album-mode / You’re not even Top 5 talent, as far as your label goes.”
The rapper did not leave out Kanye West, the founder of Good Music Label.
“I had a microphone of yours/ But then the signature faded/ I think that pretty much resembles what’s been happening lately,” Drake raps. He also puts a twist on the line that shaded him in the first place: “Whoever supposedly making me hits/ But ain’t got no hits sounds like they need me/My hooks did it/ My lyrics did it/My spirit did it.”
Drake addressed his alleged ghost writer.
“As for Q, man I changed his life a couple times. Nigga was at Kroger working double time.”
