Fans Have Questions and Reactions to Jada Pinkett Smith’s Black History Self-Care Tip

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has been in the mood to share her beauty secrets since revealing her multi-step, at-home facial regimen. Now, yet again, she is letting the people in on another one of her self-care tips, but this time it is all about feet.

“Alright it’s Black History Month and today we are going to learn how to take care of some black, crackly, ashy feet,” says Smith in a video of her foot-care routine posted to Instagram.

In the short step-by-step video, Smith shows how thoroughly cleansing and exfoliating the feet is essential for her seal-the-deal step: lathering both feet with a moisturizer, and then placing each foot into a bag of warm olive oil.

“My feet in the Winter tend to get very dry SO … I’m sharing my DIY foot softening program,” she wrote in part as the caption. For Smith, sharing must be caring considering that she put her feet on display for her 10.7 million followers.

“I needed this cause my feet looking like the desert,” commented one person.

Actress Nicole Ari Parker wrote, “Omg needed this rescue remedy thank you 🙏🏽! #pandemicpaws”

But as with other things Smith has shared — from her kale breakfast to sliding across the floor as a form of exercise — some people couldn’t help but to find the comedy in her privilege of having a smaller foot size.

“Must be nice for your feet to fit in ziplocks 😭 #Sasquatch”

“lawdamercy…just gonna use them sacks that restaurant rice comes in cries in 1 gallon wonder

“I’m just trying to represent for the big footed baddies✨”

The “Red Table Talk” co-host even found a way to plug her husband’s ex-wife Sheree Zampino’s mango and shea butter body cream, Whoop Ash. “Bless you Lady J for the @whoop_ash shout out!!! 🙌🏽❤️,” wrote Zampino after receiving a flood of inquiries.

Still, one comment rose to the top among those that took a light-hearted approach in reacting to the video:

“What has black cracking feet got to do with black history month 😂😂😂😂😂😂 but great routine! Def trying it x❤️”
