Flo Milli 2022 MTV VMA look was full Telfar. The Alabama native aced on her glorious debut mixtape Ho, Why Is You Here? Her follow-up, You Still Here, Ho?, released July 20. During her MTV VMA interview with Dometi Pongo she explained how reality tv has inspired her music career.
“Tell me the story you telling with these album titles. What was the thinking behind it.”
“Everything from the beginning came from my love for reality tv. I don’t know if anybody knew but I got that from Joseline. Ho, why is you here? We didn’t intentionally do the reality tv, until we kind of thought about it with this album. Everything is a stem of what I grew up on. I grew up on reality tv. I grew up watching the things I been doing. Like the skits I been doing on my album. Like those are like things I grew up on. Was in my body to know.”
Flo Milli explained, “With my first mixtape everybody was talking a lot of ish. With my voice. Me not being versatile. It’s just like this album is to make a statement. Like you still here, you still watching me, you still liking my pictures.”
Flo Milli 2022 MTV VMA Look
Tamia Monique Carter known as Flo Milli sported a purple and white Telfar look. The outfit featured a white Telfar tube top with purple shorts.
During her performance, of her song title “Conceited” Milli’s background dancers sported Telfar white halter tops. But paired with side split joggers.
Flo Milli’s look also consisted of her iconic purple side split bob. Milli is known to have her purple bob styled by Atlanta’s stylist KB.
The 22-year-old Capricorn will also be performing at the “Made in America” concert. The concert runs from September 3rd through September 4th. Flo Milli takes the stage on the 3rd.
