Gabourey Sidibe engaged to fiance Brandon Frankel. Many met Frankel last year as Gabourey shared their love moments on the gram.
Although socialites loved the shared moments, some still asked .. who is this guy. In January we revealed Gabourey’s boyfriend at the time was and is a member of the Recording Academy (Grammys/NARAS), Country Music Association (CMAs), and the Academy of Country Music (ACMs).
He made 2011’s Billboard “30 Under 30” Honoree. He has also spoken at the following conferences and events and more: Pollstar, Xlive Con Keynote, Global Spectrum’s corporate retreat, Anheuser-Busch InBev corporate summit, Harvard University @ MeCon, Columbia College, MobFest, Chicago-Kent College of Law, Harper College, NACA, LiveNation, SXSW, ADE Mumbai, Soho House- as well as being panelist and voting judge for various entertainment and music events like the Chicago Nightlife Awards etc.
Fast forward to the end of 2020 and the two are now engaged. Although, one year may not seem long enough, Gabourey Sidibe says they are so close that people already believed that they were married! The couple showed off how adorable they are together while making the big announcement in an sweet IG video.
“It’s weird that people think we’re already married but I guess our hearts and intentions for each other are just that clear to see. My BFF proposed and now I get to hold him forever. The funniest man I’ve ever met. The sweetest human to exist. @brandontour made up a song for when i put my bonnet on at night. The second I look a bit stressed and overwhelmed, he jumps into action to take over what he can for me. Every moment with him is a joy. He is the partner i thought I was too independent to need. I’ve learned so much about myself through him and I feel grateful and excited to learn more about the entire world with him by my side. My partner, my best friend, my cats’ daddy, my mans, my heart, my fiancé!!!”
Sidibe has shared many moments of her family life with her fiancé and their kids Aaron and Derell, and we can’t wait to see more.
