Haley Rae from Studio Wilde Says You Should Have a Website Influencer’s

Social media influencers, entrepreneurs and more should have a website, it is your identity according to Haley Rae from Studio Wilde. I sat down with the boutique design consultant to break down why.

Haley Rae started Studio Wilde in 2013 . “We specialize in branding and custom website design. So I work with a lot of small business owners who are starting out or they’re stepping up and they need to launch or relaunch. They have the vision for their brand but they’re not really sure how to bring it to life. So that’s where I come in.

That’s beautiful so how did you become interested in designing and branding?

“I studied fine art in college.” She continued, “I had a concentration and graphic design, and I was introduced to branding there.”

“I kind of fell in love with the interception of art creativity and business.”

Rae also stated, “I learned why a buyer would be more drawn to one brand versus another.”

“I really saw that communication through art was really powerful.”

The design expert explained that most business owners look are looking for what sets their businesses apart, but they can’t really figure it out on their own. “So, I help them find that heartbeat and bring their vision alive and find out what sets them apart and make it beautiful.”

Explain to us how do you go about helping small businesses find their identity with branding?

“We build brands from the ground up; we do strategy design website design we work a framework that I’ve been developing over 9 years. So, we do everything from color theory to put together a color palette that will evoke a feeling and a potential buyer.
Haley says she take a collaborative approach with her clients. “So, we start off with a questionnaire or a coffee shop that actually and a call. Then I give them some homework.”
“A lot of times my working relationships turn into friendships as I root them along from the sidelines and through their lunch.”
Of course, who wouldn’t enjoy coffee chat when dealing business.
For the expert, cheering her clients on means getting them in the midframe of “what would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail. I wanted to work with small business owners and help them bring together their brand. I meet people on the other side of that fear and help them give them confidence in their launch and confidence in their brand.”
The design maven has worked with everybody from TEDx speakers to florists to potters.
“I actually even work with other designers.”

Can you tell us why it’s important to have a website?

“So, the thing is a well-made brand, and a good website can act as another team member. They can kind of quietly work for you in the background doing their job of attracting your ideal clients and building credibility and trust for you. There shouldn’t really be a distinction if someone’s looking on your Instagram and then they go to your website.”
She continued, “There should be a level of cohesion.”
“The first thing is realizing that your brand is more than your logo. It’s more than just slapping a logo on everything right? Like it’s about what sets you apart what’s your vision. What are your values, what are the things you talk about what are the touch points that you want your clients to see. If you can look at everything that you’ve pinned on Pinterest or that you’ve saved on your Instagram or you’ve torn from your magazine screenshots of your phone your brand is in there somewhere.
“It’s always that common denominator of all the things that have inspired you enough to like file away, so my job is to just help you make sense of it all.
