Jeannie Mai Jenkins and Jeezy celebrate their anniversary after one year of marriage.
Jeezy and Jeannie initially wanted to get married in the South of France or Lake Cuomo, that all changed due to the pandemic.
Jeannie Mai Jenkins posted their weeding photo to social media. In her caption she said, “it’s not about finding someone who’s perfect. It’s about finding someone who can match your level of commitment- not just to the relationship, but the commitment to heal themselves to love stronger and live better forever.

Jeezy also posted to social media saying, Everything Is Better with You. Everything Has Been Better Since You. Happy Anniversary Mrs. Jenkins. One Year Down And A Life Time To Go.
The couple received a lot of backlash when they first announced their relationship to the public. After, Jeannia Mai Jenkins shared that she was pregnant, the public pulled up the fact that she said she did not want kids prior to. However, she changed her mind when it came to her true love Jeezy.
Jeezy had also experienced backlash.
In 2020, Jeezy battled custody of his then 6 year old daughter with his ex fiancé Mahlet “Mahi” Gebremedhin.
According to Jeezy, he feared for her mental state after she allegedly threatened to kill him. His ex declares otherwise. The custody case was originally filed by Jeezy back in April 2019 and the two had reached a settlement. Per their deal, the rapper was to pay $7,500 a month in child support plus $30,000 for school tuition.
Jeezy also unexpectedly loss his mother.
The couple welcomed joy to their lives in 2022. They gave birth to their first child in January of 2022. Mai shared the news via social media.
