Kanye West Is Not Backing Out and files For Oklahoma Presidential Ballot

Kanye West is not backing out of the Presidential election. West has missed the deadline for 12 other states, but was able to pay the 35,000 filing fee for Oklahoma which was the states last day to enter the ballot. Two days ago it was rumored that Kanye west would drop out of the election.

Steve Kramer, who had been hired to help Kanye get on the ballot in Florida and South Carolina, has reportedly told the outlet that he will no longer run.

    “He’s out,” Steve said.

When asked to elaborate on what happened, he said: “I’ll let you know what I know once I get all our stuff canceled. We had over 180 people out there today.”

“I have nothing good or bad to say about West. Everyone has their personal decision about why they make decisions. Running for president has to be one of the hardest things for someone to actually contemplate at that level…any candidate running for president for the first time goes through these hiccups,” he also said.

Wednesday the rumor was cleared and Kanye confirmed he would still run by entering the Oklahoma ballot.

The news service reported that West would appear with two other independent presidential candidates — concert pianist Jade Simmons and cryptocurrency entrepreneur Brock Pierce — on the state’s ballot.

TMZ also reported that Kanye West took his first official step toward his White House bid by filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Wednesday.

According to the report Kanye filed the Statement of Organization form. This declared that the Kanye 2020 committee will serve as the “Principal Campaign Committee,” with West as its candidate.

According to The Hill Kanye West has yet to file the second necessary form, a Statement of Candidacy. The FEC requires that candidates show that they’ve raised or spent more than $5,000 in campaign activity before being considered a candidate under federal campaign finance law.

Among uncertainty West is putting the outcome in God’s hands saying,  “Let’s see if the appointing is at 2020 or if it’s 2024—because God appoints the president. If I win in 2020 then it was God’s appointment. If I win in 2024 then that was God’s appointment,” West told Forbes.

West states that if he runs he plans to run theWhite House in the image of Wakanda.
