Kevin Hart Blasts Nick Cannon’s Phone Number to the World as Retaliation to Birthday Prank, Cannon Responds
Kevin Hart’s retaliation to Nick Cannon’s Lucky the llama prank left fans in tears on Thursday, July 22, after the comedian upped the ante by displaying Cannon’s phone number alongside a photo of him and the llama on a digital billboard in Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York. Hart’s billboard prank comes weeks after the “Drumline” star gifted Hart a llama in honor of his 42nd birthday earlier this month.
The initial billboard read, “For any advice on fatherhood? Call my best friend Nick Cannon. Hey guys! here is his cell # 323-509-0988.” Hart’s motive behind the prank is visibly clear from the 42-year-old adding the lengthy caption to complement the image of the advertising board. The father of three wrote, “Since my brother @nickcannon decided to buy me a lama for my B Day I decided to do something nice for him as well….Here is a digital billboard in Los Angeles….I also did some in ATL & NY….”
He added, “if u want any advice on fatherhood please call my BEST FRIEND @nickcannon …. I’m sure his phone has been ringing nonstop 😂😂😂😂😂😂 GOTCHA BACK B—H #PRANKWARS.”
Immediately following Hart’s post, Cannon responded to his “Real Husbands of Hollywood” co-star in various ways. The 40-year-old initially commented on the upload by saying, “you dirty muthaf—a” with four cursed and three laughing emojis.
Cannon followed that up by reposting Hart’s upload on his Instagram story and writing how his “phone won’t stop ringing.” He said, “my phone won’t stop ringing!!! @kevinhart4real is an a–hole!!!”
The final nail on the coffin was a video showcasing Cannon answering numerous unsolicited phone calls from countless fans. In the recording, the father of seven politely interacted with his fans as he answered the phone with a smile on his face. He said, “What’s popping? Yall got my number from Kev. What’s popping, what’s popping?”
Cannon added before saluting them off, “Nice to talk to yall I gotta go cause the phone is blowing up. It’s me I got another call coming in though.” The “Wild N’ Out” star wrapped up the clip by thanking Hart for an eventful day, “My phone’s about to die, thanks, Kev.” In return for Cannon’s numerous uploads, Hart electronically glorified his win by reposting the outcomes of his prank.
As Hart’s prank and Cannon’s response became viral on social media, a couple of fans pointed out how mad they would have been if they were in the actor’s position. In contrast, others pointed out how good of a sport Cannon was for answering the phone.
“Nah he’s a good sport about it tho 😂😂 I would have been tight 😭😭.”
“I would’ve been mad as hell 😭😂😂😂😂.”
“It’s so dope that he talked to people 😂😂😂😂.”
“I love how he’s taking it & making the best of it for his fans! I like nick cannon! @nickcannon.”
