Lori Harvey was arrested for her involvement in a hit and run on October 20, 2019. The accident occurred in Beverly Hills. RadarOnline.com was told by an eyewitness at the time that the young modelOpens in New Window was texting and driving when she crashed into another car. Due to the force of the collision, her SUV flipped over.
The onlooker said a man in the other car ran to help her and eventually pulled her out of her car. A confused Lori tried to walk home, but police stopped her. She then FaceTimed her famous dad before being arrested on the spot at 9:48 p.m.
It has been reported that Lori Harvey has now been charged for a hit and run. According to reports, Lori, “was charged with one misdemeanor count each of resisting, delaying, obstructing a peace officer and hit and run resulting in property damage,”, according to the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office.
Harvey’s arraignment is set for January 21.
Beverly Hills Police Department responded with the charges. According to the response, Lori was arrested on two counts: misdemeanor hit and run and delaying a police investigation. She signed a written promise to appear in court and was released soon after.
Now that she has been charged, she is expected to be arraigned later this month. more details of the story are still under way. The Blast reported that Lori is facing one year behind bars on the obstructing a police officer charge.
Lori Harvey hasn’t been looking too shaken by the incident. Lori has recently been seen sitting pool side with rapper Future. Steve Harvey commented on Lori Harvey’s alleged relationship with the 36 year old rapper Future saying. “He didn’t know anything about Lori’s potential new relationship“, he responded.
