Former President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana and his wife, Lordina, have taken the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine.
The former first couple jabs of the vaccine at the Police Hospital in Accra on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Mr Mahama said “I agreed to take the vaccine publicly, to encourage and assure all Ghanaians that the vaccines are safe.”
