A prisoner in Washington State, USA, Shane Goldsby, has been jailed for additional 25 years for killing his fellow inmate.
Goldsby, aged 26, reportedly beat Robert Munger, aged 70, to death in June 2020.
Munger was reportedly a convicted child sex offender who raped Goldsby’s sister.
According to local American media reports monitored by African Entertainment, the late Munger was serving a 43-year prison sentence for his child sex crimes.
Reports say Goldsby informed law enforcers that he beat Munger after he (Munger) started teasing him with details about how he raped his sister.
KHQ reported that the incident as narrated by Goldsby later proved true.
“I had so much stuff going on in my head,” KHQ quoted Goldsby as saying, adding that: “I wasn’t stable at that point. I wasn’t. I was getting to that point, because (Munger) kept wanting to give me details about what happened, what he did – about the photos and the videos of him doing this stuff. It was building up.”
Reports say Goldsby had been in prison for a wild joy ride in 2017. He is reported to have stolen a police vehicle and led law enforcement on a long chase before crashing into a state trooper, injuring him.
