Meagan Good and DeVon Franklin have called time on their marriage.
Good and Franklin tied the knot on June 16 2012 and have been married for over nine years. The latest coming in is that divorce papers were officially filed this week to dissolve their near-decade-long union.
According to The Blast, Franklin – a faith-based producer, author, and motivational speaker filed the legal documents on December 20 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles, California.
As for the reason for the split, no further details were available at the time of writing.
The news confirms speculation that has been rife for months. Especially after Good was snapped enjoying her 40th birthday recently sans Franklin, 43.
Still, the timing of the split is likely to surprise some given Franklin’s public declaration of support for Good – who he deemed “my love” – earlier this month upon the launch of her new Amazon Prime Video show, ‘Harlem.’
The entry, which was posted a mere three weeks ago, saw Franklin post a promotional clip for the series. Its caption read:
“Y’all not ready for this!!!. I’m so proud of my love @Meagangood! She’s one of the most talented actors on the planet AND she’s funnier than you may know but I’m so glad you finally get a chance to see her do it all as Camille Parks in the new Amazon show #Harlem @Harlemonprime!!”
