Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reportedly failed to respond to Real Madrid’s £197 million bid for Kylian Mbappe.
As a result, European sports media reports monitored by African Entertainment, say Mbappe’s proposed move to Madrid has failed.
Reports say Real Madrid were prepared to pay the £197 million to sign Mbappe.
But the Spanish club had to abandon the deal due to PSG failure to respond to their bid, reports added.
Accordingly, Madrid are expected to focus on signing Mbappe to a pre-contract agreement in January 2022 in order for Mbappe to move to the Spain on a free transfer next season.
It would be recalled that last week, the Sporting Director of PSG, Leonardo, revealed that Mbappe wanted to leave, but they would not sell him in the final week of the window and they would not sell him for less than his market value.
Mbappe left Monaco in 2017 to join PSG. He has since then won three French titles and three French cups with the side.
He has made it clear that his dream is to play for Real Madrid.
