Sportswear producing company, PUMA, has abruptly ended its four-year contract with the Athletics Federation of Nigeria.
The decision, PUMA says in a statement, was due to Nigeria’s athletes’ inability to wear its products at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
PUMA announced the termination of the contract in a letter dated Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
The letter was signed by the company’s director Manuel Edlheimb.
