Rickey Smiley Daughter Aaryn Smiley Shot Over Road Rage Days After His Cousin Passes Away

Rickey Smiley posted a sad announcement of his cousins death on Instagram not only a week ago. He posted saying, “Pray for my family. One of my favorite cousins Kim Herd passed away. Rest In Peace 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.”

Day’s later Rickey Smiley took to Instagram posting about someone else’s daughter, who was fatally shot by Police, Breonna Taylor. As Rickey Smiley sat in the sunset on a beach front thinking about the tragedy, he would never imagine that his youngest daughter would soon be a victim of gun violence.

Aaryn Smiley, reportedly went on a late snack run to Whataburger in Houston when she was caught in between a road rage incident. The intensity of the road rage resulted in gun fire, with bullets striking Aaryn Smiley twice.

Rickey Smiley posted saying, “My daughter was shot last night,” the 51-year-old said on Monday evening.

“She was on her way to Whataburger to get something to eat.

“I think she was at a stoplight and some guys got out of the car and were shooting at each other and she got hit twice.”

“Today could have been different,” the distraught comedian pondered after thanking God for keeping his daughter alive.

“I could have been down there at the funeral home.”

Unfortunately, due to covid 19 Smiley could not stay in the hospital with his daughter, but posted that he was standing outside the hospital, and would not leave until he layed eyes on her.

Aaryn Smiley also posted about the incident saying, ” this is the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me. I won’t be out of the hospital for a while, nor will I be able to walk for a while due to nerve damage. I’m so sorry if I can’t respond to everyone, but please know I’m thankful for all the messages.”

Updates on the shooter are still at way.
