Second Grand Juror Willing To Take On Breonna Taylor Case

Activist and supporters are pushing hard for justice in the Breonna Taylor case.

Another grand juror has officially joined the fight to speak out.

Days after Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced a decision in the case, another grand juror filed a motion, requesting they be able to talk publicly and anonymously about what happened in the courtroom.

The previous juror and second juror that was announced on Wednesday, will be represented by Kevin Glogower.

At a news conference on Tuesday community activist Chris 2X announced another juror being interested in joining the battle, and now it’s official.

According to WLKY, a news release from Glogower said the second juror is not seeking additional legal action, but are rather waiting for the next step in the process with the motion.

“Both clients are resolute in their desire for truth and transparency,” the release said.

Glogower has said there are inconsistencies between Cameron’s public statements about the case and the grand jury recordings that were released earlier this month.

Both stated that they agree to allowing jurors to share their thoughts and opinions, however Cameron filed a petition to temporarily block it.

According to Cameron, “Allowing this disclosure would irreversibly alter Kentucky’s legal system by making it difficult for prosecutors and the public to have confidence in the secrecy of the grand jury process going forward.” Cameron said last week
