Shaneika Speaks is a Media Personality, Published Writer, Public Speaker, Event Curator, Host, and all around a super dope chick that you should know. She had a dream of wanting to be the “It girl”, buy don’t think that means she isn’t smart. She has a bachelors in Journalism and advertising which played a part in her favor.
Starting her ever-progressing career as an entertainment journalist, and on-air host, quickly opened doors for her in the music and entertainment world. She pressed her way by sending ideas to major magazine companies and writing articles.
Pressing her way and willing to stand out landed Shaneika with some really dope names.Shaneika Speaks has served as an “Event Host” for Major Event Stages and Nationally known Music Festivals such as #SXSW in Austin Texas, A3C Music Festival in ATL and a host of open mics and talent showcases throughout the US. Using her own media platform she’s interviewed many artists in both the beginning and the peak of their careers a such as Tink, Dreezy, Rich Homie Quan, Lil Durk, Chief Keef, J.Cole and SoSoDef producer and founder of kid talent Jermaine Dupri just to name a few.
Shaneika Speaks is currently known for her weekly series “Speaks Pick of the Week” where she features visual and musical projects from both unsigned and signed talent on her website ShaneikaSpeaks.com.
Coming up Fall 2018 Shaneika Speaks will debut her Podcast titled “Point. Blank. Period” which will feature interviews from talented artists and shine a Spotlight on “All things Dope”. Her goal is to Up Lift and Encourage people with her personal Motivational tips, Life Goals/Advice and Unapologetic Pep talks.
