SNL Will Smith and Chris Rock update was on point even though people are saying they are tired of the topic.

The show as hosted by Jerrod CarMichael. “I’ve got a question — do you want to talk about it? Aren’t you sick of talking about it? Isn’t it kind of crazy? It feels like I’ve been talking about it for so long.” Carmichael was right. We have been talking about it but seems like something new comes up about it each day.

“Can you believe it happened six days [ago]? … Doesn’t it feel like it happened years ago? Like, doesn’t it feel like it happened when we were all in high school?”

During Seatfillers Jerrod Carmichael introduces himself to Will Smith, played by Chris Redd.

“Oh no way, Will Smith. Excise me Mr. Smith I know I’m not supposed to talk to you. I’m just a seatfiller, but I just wanted to say I’m a huge fan.”

Redd replies, ” Thank you man. That means a lot. Ha Ha.”

“I love all of your movies. Pursuit of Happiness is so inspiring. I just showed it to my son.”

In the skit the two continue talking until Chris Rock gets up on stage.

Jerrod Carmichael then attempts to take a selfie with Chris Redd, who plays Will Smith. Then suddenly the Chris Rock joke about Jada is repeated in the skit.

Redd excuses himself from the seatfiller, ” be right back man.” Then he walks up and slaps Chris Rock.

He walks back to his seat and continues his conversation with the seatfiller.

“So where are you from man?”

The whole crowd began to laugh.

Commentors in the skit aired on SNL YouTube channel said, ” Jerrod Carmichael had the same expression we all had after the slap. Priceless.”
