The second wave of the pandemic has hit the country like a tsunami. With the collapsing healthcare and the shortage of medical resources, celebrities have come forward to help out common man with medicines, oxygen supplies, ventilators and more. One man who has actively been a Messiah for the masses is Sonu Sood, who started last year when he helped migrant workers reach their homes safely and he has not extended medical help for the common man.
Tweeting to the Chinese Ambassador in India, Sun Weidong, Sonu Sood mentioned that hundreds of oxygen concentrators are stuck in China due to blocked flights and requested Mr. Weidong to help out in this situation. To this, the ambassador replied” Noted your twitter info. Mr. Sood, China will do its utmost to support India fighting COVID-19. To my knowledge, freight air routes from China to India are operating normally. The past two weeks have witnessed 61 freight flights from China to India in Operations.”
