Tamar Braxton has reportedly been hospitalized on a suicide attempt by overdose.
She was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Thursday night, July 16, after she was found unresponsive in her hotel room.
The 911 call was made by her boyfriend,D Adefeso. David found her “unresponsive” in their room at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in downtown LA.
He then called 911 and claimed that Braxton “had been drinking and had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills,” the outlet continued. Sources told The Blast they believe it was a possible suicide attempt.
Heavy received confirmation from the Los Angeles Police Department that they received a medical emergency call around 9:45 p.m. at 900 W. Olympic Blvd — which is where the Ritz-Carlton is located.
A media representative said an “individual was transported” from the location to a local hospital.
According TMZ thee 911 caller indicated “someone at the Ritz Carlton hotel in downtown L.A. attempted suicide.”
At the time of arrival EMT’s found The Real and Braxton Family Values star unconscious in her room, TMZ continued. Sources told the outlet that Adefeso explained to police that his girlfriend “had been upset earlier in the day and had threatened suicide.”
The Blast stated that “Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her.”
Tamar Braxton is reportedly in good condition but still unconscious, The Blast continued. She is under 24-hour-watch at the hospital.
