Some 51 villagers have allegedly been massacred by suspected terrorists in Northern Mali.
Malian authorities announced the killings, local media reports say.
An AFP report monitored by African Entertainment revealed that armed men stormed three villages near Mali’s border with Niger.
AFP quoted a Malian military source as saying, “the terrorists went into the villages and massacred everyone.”
According to AFP, it could not reveal the source identity for security reasons but however further quoted the source as saying: “Twenty civilians were massacred in Karou. Fourteen civilians were killed in Ouatagouna, and other civilians were killed in the hamlet of Daoutegeft.”
