Save-a-lot is a straight to go to. Save-a-lot doors are open on Thanksgiving day until 3 p.m most areas.

What can you get from Save-a-lot? Since this is a full grocery store you can pick up practically the entire meal. Items including stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, preps for mac and cheese, greens, and potatoes. The store also has ready made pies and cakes.

Since it is Thanksgiving you likely have no time to make a Turkey, but according to reports Popeyes has brought back their cajun style turkey. If they are out of the turkey, let’s be serious most of us have no problem opting for the friend chicken and biscuits.

Can’t make it to the store by 3 p.m? Whole Foods is staying open until 5 p.m for last minute shopping. Kroger is also open until 5 p.m, as well as Meijer, in which they are open until 4 p.m.

Meijer offers a full variety of Thanksgiving options including decorations.

If you aren’t able to get to any of the stores you can still opt for a full on warm meal from any of these restaurants, Golden Corral, Denny’s, Waffle House, TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, Subway, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Bucca Di Beppo.

Lastly, check with your local Chefs. Facebook is a good reference to reach out to some of your Chef friends or family members who are normally selling cooked meals on the go.
