Three of Europe’s top football managers have been nominated for UEFA Men’s Coach of The Year 2020/2021.
Chelsea’s head coach, Thomas Tuchel; Manchester City’s boss, Pep Guardiola, and the manager of Italy’s national men’s football team, Roberto Mancini, were announced by UEFA as nominees for the Men’s Coach of the Year award.
UEFA announced their nominations on Thursday, August 19, 2021, in a post on its official Instagram handle.
According to UEFA in its post sighted by African Entertainment, its awards winners will be announced on August 26, 2021 during the UEFA Champions League draw.
Tuchel successfully guarded Chelsea to win the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League title as the Blues defeated Pep Guardiola’s side, Manchester City 1 – 0 in the final in Portugal.
Mancini led Italy to win the delayed Euro 2020 a few weeks ago.
