Turkey is expected to deport renowned Ugandan blogger, Fred Lumbuye, today, Saturday, August 8, 2021.
Lumbuye was arrested in Turkey a few days ago for criticizing the Ugandan Government.
Uganda’s Human Rights Lawyer, Gawaya Tegule, speaking on the arrest of Lumbuye, indicated that “There will be no justice in Uganda … between Turkey and here, we do not know what can happen to Lumbuye because Uganda is now known as a state that tortures its citizens … it’s time to be afraid.”
