Kim K and Johathan Cheban, now legally changed to Foodgod was spotted at Malibu’s scenic restaurant Moonshadows in 2016. Although, this seemed like a typically lunch date for the two bff’s the ocean embracing scenery was a beautiful thought for an anniversary lunch.
Kim K has plenty of hotspots in Cali where paparazzi swarm to get snapshots. The paps recently snapped her a bf Pete Davidson at In and Out Burger. But surely none of her male friends have better food taste then FoodGod.
In 2019 JC recently changed his name to Foodgod. Even Wendy Williams admitted to his on-point direction to great eats. During a Wendy Williams show episode she said, “No one knows food like the Kardashians and like our first guest FoodGod. I love him so much.”
Needless to say, we do too. So, we tried this Malibu’s hotspot Moonshadows. Other celeb citing’s at the eatery include Leann Rimes, and Mel Gibson.
What We Ate At FoodGod spotted Restaurant Moonshadows
I’m giving this place a 5 out of 5, starting with the fact that they have great drinks. Which is probably what led to Mel Gibson being kicked out of the restaurant after getting drunk.
We enjoyed an early brunch. So, our choice of drinks were mimosas. But not everyone can make tasteful yet buzzworthy mimosas. I ordered a pineapple orange, while my partner enjoyed cranberry after our first orange mimosas. Yes, we kept them coming.
In regard to food, I opted for a chicken croissant. The perfectly buttery flaky croissant was perfect outside of a juicy piece of chicken. I thought I didn’t want the watermelon with it. But I never realized how good watermelon is with a flaky chicken sandwich. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. Not too greasy and definitely not dry.
My spouse opted for a bacon cheeseburger, because he is simple and hate taking risks. But he had to live out on the ledge a bit with his burger. Since Moonshadows only carry’s fresh cheeses he had to order the parmesan cheese on the burger. Nevertheless, he enjoyed it. He never eats anything he hates.
As far as the pricing, for 5 drinks and two full meals the bill came out to about 128 bucks.
