Wendy Williams finale has us asking how old Vanessa Williams is. She initially gained recognition as the first African-American woman to receive the Miss America title when she was crowned Miss America 1984 in 1983. Fly back then, but seeing her today feels like time never existed.
As Sherri Shepherd hosted the Wendy finale she shared a clip of Vanessa Williams first day.
On July 13th, 2009 the ‘Save the Best For Last’ singer sat next to Wendy Williams announcing Wendy Williams day. “I’ve been listening to Wendy for years. I want to be more than a friends. Can we be real friends? This is your first day and I know Wendy is way to humble to even talk about this. But today is officially Wendy William’s day.”
As Sherri Shepherd announced, Vanessa as a finale guest the actress walked out on stage. Effortlessly, beautiful with no signs of aging. She also did the shoe cam.
Speaking on her first day on the show she said, “looking at that clip”. The mother of four said, “I was a true fan”. Also noting, “I listened to her on BLS. I was driving home from the studio after recording. Something came up about finances. I called her and I said it’s Vanessa Williams. Let me tell you. And we talked about finances with the audience.”
V Williams continued saying, “she was real. I mean she is real. And she’s resilient, and she’s a fighter. She kept it 100. But she did it with fun. Had all these weird like Wendyisms that we’ve grown to know and love. So, I’m really going to miss the show.”
But as she spoke, we realized more and more how time treated her well.
Still asking how old Vanessa Williams is? In 2009 when she first appeared on the Wendy show she was 46. So that makes Miss America a hot 59 years old. Still fly and slaying the entertainment world. She also spoke about her new Broadway show, “Potus“.
As the show ended the cast recapped more favorite celebrity interviews. Including Nick Cannon, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker and more. Along with guests, Suzy Nakamura, and Lilli Cooper.
