Social media played a big role in the Kardashians ending their family series. According to Kris Jenner explained that when she and her famous family began the show, social media was not the great beast it is right now.
However, that isn’t a bad thing according to Kris Jenner. The Kardashians ending is a sign that fans of the reality series and its family members have evolved with the times.
Jenner, stated that audiences would prefer to get the updates they want directly and instantly from the Kardashian sisters themselves rather than wait for a season to be filmed.
To them, watching an occurrence months later is bothersome.
The Kardashians ending is also played in part of the social media empires the girls have built with their fame. As we know Kylie Cosmetics has had much success through social media, as well as Poosh for Kourtney Kardashian. Kim K West, has the 7th highest following on Instagram where she displays her products, and projects. Khloe recently landed a partnership with Dose and Co which was also announce via the gram.
The individuals all have brands and lines that rely on connecting with customers which takes a lot of time and consistency on social platforms.
Kris sat down with Women’s Wear Daily to talk all about how she managed to build her billion-dollar empire.
“When we first started, there was no Instagram or Snapchat or other social media platforms. The world has changed. Now there are so many, the viewer does not have to wait three or four months to see an episode. We can give them all of the information anyone would ever want to know in real time,” The grandma explained.
With that being said the girls are able to focus on building business they all enjoy, we all saw how Kourtney Kardashian was so over it with the show anyway. Kudos to their new beginnings.
