Amerie’s Son River Rowe Is Getting So Big – Celeb Life

In celeb life Amerie’s son River Rowe is getting so big. He is now three years old and walking.

The singer, Author and CEO of Amerie’s Book Club announced her pregnancy to the world a few years back.  Her caption simply had two hashtags, #BestBirthdayPresentEver #21weeks#blessed. January 12 also marks the singer’s birthday.

In 2011 the Grammy-nominated recording artist married former Columbia Records executive, Lenny Nicholson in Anguilla. The happy couple met when Nicholson was working as her artists and repertoire rep on her second album.

She spoke out to Essence saying, “He’s just a gentleman. He’s just so romantic! I love the way he treats my family. He treats my sister just as well as he treats me and that’s so important to me. She actually mentioned that in her speech. She was my maid of honor.”

“We did traditional vows. The thing with Lenny and I is that we write each other all the time —things like personal emails and love letters— we’ve always done that. The things that people would probably put in their vows we put into our emails, love letters, and cards to each other so we do a lot of those things.”

On May 15th, 2018, the couple were welcoming their new bundle of love into the world, son River Rowe.

On Instagram, the singer shared that she and her husband, Lenny Nicholson, have welcomed their first child together, River Rowe Charles L. Nicholson.

“1 magical month later… | River Rowe Charles L. Nicholson God blessed us with our baby boy May 15th, 2018,” she wrote to caption a photo of her newborn. “River, we love you and we’re so honored to be your parents, to be your foundation and your rock in this thing called life. God bless you, our beautiful son. #RiverRowe #MommysLilCupcake.”

“May 15, 2021,” Amerie shared online. “So much gratitude to have my son, my blessing, my shining star, my lil mochi, my butter-biscuit baby,” the celebrity mom shared. “‘Goodbye 2, Hello 3!’ as River likes to say,” Amerie wrote online.

“We celebrated with full yet weighted hearts yesterday because there is so much pain and loss in the world,” the recording artist admitted. “So this weekend we held our son tighter and prayed for more love, more love, more love.”

In most recent posts Amerie captioned her boy mom joy, saying He calls me “Mommy Twin” and I call him “Baby Twin.”
