Jeannie Mai and Jeezy Pregnancy The History of Why They Deserve it

Jeannie Mai and Jeezy surviving their relationship could of almost been impossible. The couple struggled not only emotional separation drama but financial stains and death.

When Jeannie Mai first announced her divorce, she spoke out about not ever wanting to have children and now a few years later she is pregnant and excited.

Meeting her husband at a young age Mai said “When we were dating I was always very vocal — because I’ll never lead a man on when I know I don’t want to have children,” Mai said. “So, I was always honest about that. I think we were both so young — it was like 14 years ago — I think he also thought, ‘You know what, we’re so in love I don’t want that either.’ He could have been happy not having children with me.”

During her confessions on “The Real” Mai also spoke out about how being the strongest earner in the relationship caused her to have to pay alimony.

“I was married to someone who had more money than me, but because I was the stronger earner and we lived in California — a shocking thing slapped me in the face when we divorced and I had to end up paying him my earnings,” Mai explained before adding that the experience taught her a lesson about “looking out for myself.”

As the clip was shared on Instagram the new girlfriend of Jeanie Mai’s ex husband Freddie Harteis chimed in saying, “Looking out for YOURSELF is why you’re STILL miserable.”

A year later Mai would also face a life threatening disease. She was diagnosed with Epiglottitis. The 41-year-old co-host of “The Real” and sideline reporter on “Holey Moley” was forced to withdraw from Season 29 of “Dancing with the Stars.”

During her turmoil and struggles, Jeezy was not short of his issues. In 2020, Jeezy battled custody of his then 6 year old daughter with his ex fiance Mahlet “Mahi” Gebremedhin.

According to Jeezy, he feared for her mental state after she allegedly threatened to kill him. His ex declares otherwise. The custody case was originally filed by Jeezy back in April 2019 and the two had reached a settlement. Per their deal, the rapper was to pay $7,500 a month in child support plus $30,000 for school tuition.

Battling public backlash, financial rendering, and life threatening disease, we think the two deserve new life being bread back into their atmosphere.
