Breaking boundaries that has not been broken since 1983. That is correct in 1983 the award went to Debbie Allen. Must we say this is so well deserved. Tracee Ellis Ross has been breaking stereotypes since the show “Girlfriends” where four single black women showed the real side of the single black women life. With her hit show black-ish she demonstrates how African-American women are not subject to lining with rugged ways, or being someones baby momma. Similar to women of all races she played a supporting mom, an understanding wife, and an educated well off strong woman. Congratulation to Tracee Ellis Ross a true icon.
