Fifteen people were hospitalized with injuries after a crash involving a Chicago Transit Authority bus in the city’s Bronzeville neighborhood on Friday afternoon.
The crash involving a southbound #3 CTA bus and a GMC occurred around 3:36 p.m. near East Pershing and South King Drive, authorities said.
Fifteen people were transported to local hospitals from the scene, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Video posted on social media showed several ambulances and at least one fire truck in the area as emergency responders tended to the crash.
The windshield of the bus was visibly damaged after the crash.
