Some 15 students have been involved in a terrible car crash in Ghana.
The crash occurred on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Nsawam in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
African Entertainment has gathered that a Daf CF 350 truck enroute from Accra to Kumasi, with registration number GT 9730-13, crashed with a number of cars including the bus conveying the students of Sure Start International School.
The truck was said to be loaded with bags of cement and had its brake failed in the Eastern Region, resulting in the crash. The driver of the truck is Abugrago Apuying, aged 31.
The students escaped the crash unhurt but occupants of other vehicles were said to have sustained various degrees of injuries and have since been treated.
The crashed vehicles are: Daewoo Matiz taxi cab with registration number GT 5435-18, Hyundai Pajero S/wagon with registration number GR 7280-11, Kia Pride taxi cab with registration number GT 5720-W, M/B Sprinter bus, and a Hyundai H100 bus with registration number GE 2989-12.
The Deputy Eastern Regional Police spokesman, Sgt, Francis Gomado, has confirmed the crash to the media.
