
A triple shooting in the basement of a house on Chicago’s Northwest Side left one dead and two others hospitalized on Saturday.
Around 2:52 p.m., a 24-year-old man, a 29-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were shot in the basement of a residence on the 4900 block of North Harding in Chicago’s Albany Park neighborhood by an unknown offender, police said.
Video on social media showed police and fire department vehicles on the block around 3:30 p.m.
The 24-year-old was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The 29-year-old, who was shot in the foot, was transported to a local hospital by authorities where he was initially listed in good condition at the hospital, authorities said.
The 34-year-old man was shot in the calf and self-transported to a local hospital, authorities said. He was initially listed in fair condition.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing, police said.
