A 32-year-old man died after he was pulled from Lake Michigan near Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
Around 3 p.m., a 32-year-old man was found unresponsive in the water near the 2500 block of North Lake Shore Drive, authorities said. He was pulled from the water and transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The man was later identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner as Matthew Mccullough.
A death investigation remains ongoing.
