A driver slammed into the side of a home in unincorporated Cary on Monday evening, displacing at least four residents.
According to authorities, officers were called to the home in the 2500 block of Oakdale Terrace for reports of an SUV that had crashed into a residence.
When officers arrived, they found three of the occupants of the home had gotten out of the residence without injury.
The driver and passenger in the vehicle were treated at the scene for minor injuries, but both declined hospitalization.
After an inspection, it was determined the home was unsafe for inhabitation pending repairs. The Red Cross is assisting the four occupants with lodging as that process gets underway, officials said.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the crash.
