Nick Cannon engagement video aka “Eyes Closed” song dropped after admitting he missed Mariah Carey.
But some fans, not fully listening to the star assumed he was actually engaged to his last baby mother. Only a few days ago the announcement was made about Alyssa Scott expecting.
During the Nick Cannon show, the host announce the passing of their 5-month-old son Zen. Scott shared news of the new baby to her gram around mothers day.

Soon after the “Masked Singer’ host announced his engagement.
“That’s my fantasy love. That’s somebody I will always love,” Cannon said of Carey during a talk on The Hot Tee Talk Show this week. “I will never have a love like I had with Mariah. If I had the opportunity, if it could be the way that it was, I’m there.”
“Always be my baby,” he added, referring to the title of Carey’s 1995 hit.
The two share his oldest twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon.
As others put two and two together, they began to realize Cannon’s engagement announcement was for a music video.
His celebrity socialites commented. Ernest Dukes said, This gotta be a music video cuz IKYFL.
Additionally, Wildin Out’s Jessie Woo said, This caption is jokes.
But not all fans paid attention to what was really taking place.
As the 41-year-old dropped the video on Facebook on Sunday July 17th. He pinned to the video, “let me know what yal think”.
Many commented saying, “I love this song”. But others still in shock it was for a music video.
