    Jan 6 Hearing Continues In September See What Happened Live

    The January 6 committee presented striking new evidence on Thursday. The evidence highlighted former President Donald Trump’s three-hour refusal to publicly condemn the unfolding insurrection at the US Capitol or to call off the violent mob.

    So far, the committee held 8 hearings.

    With the July 22nd hearing as the 8th one.

    Rep. Elaine Luria, a Virginia Democrat, and Rep. Adam Kinzinger, an Illinois Republican led the hearing. Illinois recently convicted to married residents of the state for rioting.

    Both Matthew Pottinger and Sarah Matthews  testified in person. Pottinger and Matthews both resigned since the riot.

    Several firsthand witnesses inside the White House during the January 6 riot told the committee that Trump did not place a single call to any of his law enforcement. Neither did he call national security officials during the Capitol attack.

    Unseen video footage also aired during the Jan 6 hearing. Video’s shoe Donald Trump attempting to read notes for a public announcement video towards the rioters. But during the video Trump interrupted several times attempting to avoid verbiage with full on conviction towards rioters. Additionally, still trying to avoid admitting the votes validation for Biden.

    During the Jan 6 hearing, audio clips of Kevin McCarthy’s conversations with Trump after January 6 and said that he was considering advising him to resign. Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner confessed during the video that McCarthy “was scared”.

    A photo of Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley, raising his fist toward the rioters outside the Capitol the morning of January 6 was shown. As well as a video of him running out of the Senate chamber — and played it a second time in slow motion for emphasis.

    186 minutes of audio aired.

    In addition to the video footage, the Secret Service has been accused of deleting text messages from January 5 and 6, 2021.  The Department of Homeland Security inspector general probed the now a criminal investigation, CNN has reported.

    The panel said it “confirmed in numerous interviews with senior law enforcement and military leaders, Vice President Mike Pence’s staff, and DC government officials: None of them — not one — heard from President Trump that day,” Luria said.
