    Cash App And Serena Williams Educate Consumers On Financial Literary


    Serena Williams and Cash App teamed up to give back to communities.  The athletic philanthropist has been influencing many over the years.

    Most recently, she stepped in to help educate people on financial literacy.

    The company also makes history with Serena Williams with their first integrated brand campaign, “That’s Money.”

    The series of fifteen-second video spots will “capture the ease and joy of using the App for everyday money management.”

    During the company’s latest commercial, Williams uses App to pay her babysitter after a night out. She said she partnered with the company to encourage money management with ease.

    “I am a huge proponent of financial independence, education and accessibility,” said Serena Williams in news release shared with Essence. “I want to use my platform to raise awareness around the opportunities money management tools like Cash App have to offer.” Additionally stating, “working together was a no-brainer. Cash App’s new brand campaign highlights just one of Cash App’s features I love to use.” She continued, “I hope this will show audiences that they can also financially interact with friends and family in a seamless way.”

    Other stars that have been tapped for future Cash App campaign spots.

    The list includes NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., as well as Formula One racing driver Sergio Pérez.

    According to reports, videos may air on connected TV (Hulu, Tubi, ESPN+) and across social platforms through 2022.
