Queen Elizabeth Dies At Age 96 With Prince Charles Now Ruling

Queen Elizabeth Dies At Age 96 The Oldest Reigning Monarch

Queen Elizabeth dies at age 96. She leaves as one of the longest to reign. Prior to her leaving she appointed Liz Truss as the 15th Prime Minister. Truss spoke during the press release.

Elizabeth II is in her thoughts as the royal leader is under medical supervision in Scotland.

In a statement shared on Twitter shortly after 12:30 p.m. local time, Truss said the “whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime.”

“My thoughts — and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom — are with Her Majesty the Queen and her family at this time,” Truss wrote.

Family rushed to her side, although this was not the first time the Queens health spread alarm.

Last year many were alarmed after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited the Queen for the first time since they departed to the States.

Daily Pop host Justin Sylvester notes that Queen Elizabeth is sick, and this may be the reason for Harry and Meghan’s return to the UK.

The host compared the couples reuniting with the Queen as a sign of visiting before it is too late.

He said, while she is at her best right now, maybe Harry and Meghan came to say hi.

His co-host Lonnie Love replied back to him saying, “her momma made it to 99, she gone make it to 100”.

“I hope so I really like her,” replied Daily Pop Guest host Jonathan Van Ness.

The couple attended the Invictus Games. This is Meghan Markle’s first experience attending the UK event.

She is mourned around the globe. When Queen Elizabeth did visit the states, she stopped in one city, Chicago.

She was pregnant with her third child, Prince Andrew, though that wouldn’t be revealed until later.

The Chicago stop was an eventful 14 hours, beginning with a lakefront arrival. Here’s a look back at the royals’ day in Chicago more than 63 years ago.

    She will be remembered.
