
Yet another round of potentially severe storms is threatening the Chicago area Friday, the latest in a string of systems eyeing the region this week.
With virtually the entire Chicago area under a tornado watch through the evening hours and the National Weather Service placing northern Illinois under an “enhanced” risk of severe weather, the threat for storms heading into the evening is climbing.
The window begins around 5 p.m., though some earlier showers and storms could have bigger impacts.
